Satellite tracking and satellite phones for aircraft

Jetcity a company based at Essendon Airport, Melbourne Australia has now completed the fit out of its Lear 35 & Lear 45 Jet fleet with the latest Satellite Tracking and Iridium Satellite communications devices from MGLSAT. Managing Director Lorne Cole said, "MGLSAT has allowed us to now track aircraft across the world real time, from our office PC's and even my iPad for an extremely low cost by comparison to other solutions viewed".
Travis Stephens, Jetcity's Chief Engineer is now looking forward to the next expansion on the solution being, internet/email in flight through the new MGLSAT Optimizer product due for release in the next few weeks. This new add on will allow staff, guests and crew to work in flight for a data cost never available so low in the past.
Flight trials of the new satellite data solution will commence with Jetcity operationally in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for what is expected to be an exciting outcome...
